Little update.... Bob came over tonight and helped us set the cab on. Got 2 small things hitting the bottom of the firewall we gotta address before it'll be set for good, but they are minor and easy fixes.

Front clip is together and all the plumbing is together. Kinda at a stall on it as we slowly purchase the wiring harnesses and the gauges. It'll go to the exhaust shop in a couple weeks, then the next step will be wiring it. Once it's wired, we'll be able to fire it and make sure all is well before moving on to the interior.

Loaded up and headed to Mesa Muffler

Dual Magnaflows dumped under the bed in front of the rear axle

Picked up the bed today from sand blasting, dropped it off at the body shop so they can move the gas door to a new location, touch up a few areas and spray it.

Got the Vintage Air system installed a few days ago. Pretty awesome system as it eliminates the big box that's normally in the engine compartment and relocates it all inside in one unit.

Looks like you're on the right track. Can't wait to see it completed.

Picked this combo up yesterday, original Warn 8274 winch with a Warn winch bumper for the truck. Will fix and clean up the winch a bit and get the bumper chrome plated.

Pretty much all the wiring is done and cleaned up. This picture is a "in progress" picture of the wiring, it has since been wrapped and strapped into place.

After I got some stuff mounted in the engine bay, we test fit the hood to make sure it all clears.

Looks good, fire it up!

Been working to get the plumbing finished. We are waiting on a couple parts that will show up Wednesday and we can wrap it up. All that's really left now is to plug the gauges in, prime the motor, add fluids and hope it starts..

Radiator is for an 86 with a big block, i've read it's good enough for the 6.0.. electric fans are Flexalite fans. Got them from a garage sale fr $10 on a whim.. looked up the part number afterwards and they are about $350 new so we scored on that.

Been a while since I updated this... Truck is pretty much done. We dropped it at the body shop Saturday to get everything touched up before it's big debut at Good Guys in March.. We need to throw the door panels on and do a couple little adjustments on the interior but beyond that it's just getting it tuned, and getting an alignment done on it. The transmission is slipping pretty bad, but we are hoping it's a computer issue and that the tune will fix that. If it doesn't we'll have to take it back to the trans shop and have them look at it.

We'll have it out at Good Guys all three days... March 15th - 17th. Come out and say hi!

Finished up the tune and dyno yesterday. Couple little noises I have to figure out but overall it runs and drives awesome!

268 at the wheels in 2nd gear. They said you add about 30% to that number to get your number in 3rd gear, which would end up right about 348
