Hard Question I Need Help With
#1
Your Friday stumper:

Feel free to post your own but this is one of those life's little mysteries I can't ever wrap my brain around.

I'm sure at some point you have seen the following scenario soo...

Give me a legitimate back story, to the grown man you see riding his bike down the street while holding onto a second bike (of equal size and quality) besides "he stole it."

Can it be done? You can be creative as possible.

It was a dark and stormy night… errrrr... It was the other day… Jimmy had woken at the butt crack of noon to make his first class of the day. The 2:30 lab always seemed to come so soon… Next semester he would make sure his first class wasn’t till 4pm… As he mad his way to the hall he noticed his tire was flat. Sonofa… Well, there was only one thing that little Jimmy could do… Steal… errrr…Lets make that “borrow” his roommate’s bike since he wasn’t up yet. So Jimmy took off for class with his flat tire bike in tow so that he could drop it off at the shop and pick it up again on the way home.
To bad Jimmy was hit by a bus and killed before he made it to class… Now his roomy needs a bike and someone to pay ½ the rent.

Eric lets his buddy Jason that lives 4 blocks away borrow one of his bikes for the weekend. One day after work Eric goes out for a bike ride and decides to see what Jason is doing. They sit and chat for a few and Eric realizes he needs to get going because him and his wife are going on an earily morning bike ride. Instead of riding home and getting the car Eric just grabs onto the other bike and heads home so he dosnt have to stop by Jason's in the morning to get his wifes bike.

He was part of the ghost bike project where a rider holds onto an empty bike symbolizing a friend or fellow rider who was killed in a biking accident

That whole site was just made up so people would think they are doing a good cause when they are really stealing your bike.

K, so I posed this question a while back. Let's take it up a notch.
While at the gas station at 6am Sunday morn I noticed a guy walking down the steet in his best street clothes carrying a computer on his shoulder. As I was trying to think of a story for that one, I saw that someone else was trying to put a finger on an explanation as well. A cop car paced him then got ahead and stopped to question him.

He had him set the comp down on his trunk, ran some checks and talked to him a while but then let him go. I had the camera running video just in case something went down and and he bolted, but nothing like that happened.

Maybe next time he should strap the comp to the 2nd bike.......

Better late then never. The guy with the bikes is on a road trip and when the one breaks down he has a spare. And for the computer walker. He is a up to date door to door salesman and its not a computer its the first ever blackberry.
