Money Pit is coming apart slowly.
#21
A little progress was made today. I was able to get the tub mount bolts tightened down with the help of my son, his cousin, and air tools. I decided to let that ride for the moment and I am concentrating on painting the tube work. The seat brackets have painted a semi-gloss. Next is the rock sliders, roll cage and front bumper. When I get these done to my satisfaction it is on to bolting them on temporarily. Pics to follow.

Braedon on the driver's side and his cousin Liston on the passenger side. They helped me tighten the body mount bolts.

The sliders came out well too.

What's left to paint is the spare tire carrier that you can see peeking above the hood in the back ground of roll cage pic and the front stinger bumper that is not pictured. Hopefully, tomorrow I can paint them or at least prep them for paint. It is sprinkling or raining off an on today.

Yay for progress! Looking good!

Slow but sure. The rain interfered this weekend. I might be able to get some progress today.

Got some more painting and prep work done.

This is the stinger/winch bumper made by Doc Pugh from Stone Soup Metal works. It had some surface rust so I covered it with a rust converter. It needs one more coat of that then primer and and paint.

This is my clam shell tire carrier. I hope to convert to a swing away in the future.

After a long hiatus I am finally able to post an update. It isn't much but it is something. My goal is to spend an hour a week working on the poor thing until it is running again. Here are some pics of my MetalCloak fender that I just put on. Only 3 more to go. :D
