Whats your adventure vacation?
#1
Must be a 4x4 adventure. Is there a trail, road, destination that you want to see?

I have done Mojave road and would love to do another trip like that.

What other trails like that are out there?

#1 Alaska, dream trip for Chelcee and I is to buy a pop up camper for the truck, take 4-5 weeks off work and drive to Alaska hitting up some places on the way to and from.

#2 Rubicon. Always been a trail I would love to take several days on and enjoy some fishing and camping.

#3 Moab, some of the iconic trails I haven't been on yet, and some I have but not actually been driving

I gotta try and find the name of the road, but I remember a trip report of a couple taking dirt from the Canadian border in Montana, all the way down to the gulf coast. Only time they hit aspalht was at the border crossing into Mexico.

Rubicon is top of my list. My Eleanor if you will.

Alaska would be great, but can't imagine taking that much time off work.

I also want to get back to CO and do the full bridal falls trail.

Towards the bottom of the list is the most achievable. Redington pass in southern az. There's a hike to a giant waterfall but it's posted all over the interwebs so probably a decent amount of traffic. Could be a decent day trip in the shiny jeep.

Rubicon is still at the top of the list for me.

I'd like to attempt Holy Cross in Colorado too

Just Googled that trail.... and yes, that needs to happen.
#7
Wow. That looks awesome!
#8
I would like to go to the Grand Tetons. Just because I like to say Tetons. :))
#9
Also have to add Sandy Beach... just because. No other reason than to say I've done it and it being the one spot out there I have yet to drive to.

I would like to pick two destinations (Phoenix to Vegas, for instance, or Phoenix to Johnson Valley, etc...) and drive the entire distance entirely off road (or at the very least, on nothing but back-roads and forrest roads... nothing paved if at all possible). Don't care where to where, honestly. (Basically this that Avis posted: "I gotta try and find the name of the road, but I remember a trip report of a couple taking dirt from the Canadian border in Montana, all the way down to the gulf coast. Only time they hit aspalht was at the border crossing into Mexico." but in a more manageable chunk.)

Going back to Baja and driving the entire peninsula myself, not just as co-dawg would be awesome.

Moab time is always good, but the laid back Colorado trip is something I'm yearning for again.

The Rubicon is a "meh" for me, honestly, but I'd like to check it off the bucket list.

Most everything else has to do with a lot of travel (South America, Central America, parts of Europe, etc...).

Of course, at this point, I'd like to just go run all the trails at Bumble Bee without pulling cable. LOL.

Sounds to me like we need to go run Holy Cross in CO.. :)

Bob, you're all set, right?

LOL. It seemed to do better than Kris' in the desert at KOH.... ;-)

Also, I'm seeing the trend that we are all going to need to get overland adventure vehicles instead of rock crawlers in the fairly near future. LOL. Nice. I'm been leaning towards a FSJ as the next step beyond race car anyway.
