As you all know last weekend we went to Crown King and stayed the night. The next morning we went to Horse Theif Lake to do a little fishing. There were no fish biting and the rain really started to come down on us. So we put the poles down and decided to play on the frozen part of the lake. Here is a video that captures our great adventure.

Wow... That looks warm.

The audio is a little off on the you tube version, Mike yells the second he hits the water and it is really funny.

It's not a yell persay. If you listen (don't listen too carefully - J says you can hear me say some other things) J and I make the same noise when submersed. It's like someone bear hugs you and pushes all your oxygen out. Then of course there's the fact that your heart does something wierd and unexplainable.

We were prepared with hot chocolate and spare clothes.

J looked messed up when he got out b/c one of the dogs clawed his face so he was bleeding from his eye, chin, and hand.

J's last line is still the best part of the vid: "Back to the car."

Its too bad you can't really make that out on youtube version. I turned the volume all the way up and still couldn't make it out but could from the one he sent me through quicktime.

Ha, I felt bad for filming but I knew I had to. :wink: It was hiiiiiiilarious.
