What would be involved in going wood cutting? Not just a little bit for a weekend of fires. Im thinking more like a full truck or two of wood.
I have been driving around and picking up all the wood from the down trees but other people are too so there isn't too much out there.

A log splitter is about $100 a day to rent. I would need a better chainsaw...

If you go up north, I believe you legally need to get a $5 permit from the forestservice. I think game and fish sells them actually.. might call and ask.
