Just as a helpful public service announcement... a GoPro (version 1, 2, or 3) will continue film full-time when the power cable is plugged in... it just won't film when plugged into a computer. For the race cars this year, I'm running 64GB cards with a dedicated power supply (a USB cable to a 12V supply in each car... basically a cigarette lighter with the USB charger insert).

If you want to get your full day of wheeling or adventuring recorded and don't want to screw with batteries running out, drill a little hole in the side of your case so that you can plug in your USB charging cable. Plug into your car, full time power all day on the trail and/or race.
