Special thanks to Daniel for being out there all weekend - helping and as a volunteer on course.
Special thanks to Mike and his portable battery charger for helping on Friday morning as he was out there doing a pro photo shoot on the 4493.

Most of you saw my Facebook post, but here's the opening paragraph and I really mean this:

"Anyone who has every done anything worthwhile, something that requires sacrifice and effort and heart... understands that these things don't happen singularly. It requires an entire team of people to sacrifice, support, encourage, and care. This is part of why I love racing. Granted, setting behind the wheel, flying through the desert with "my hair on fire and my car catching" is an adrenaline rush and such an incredible high. Trophies are cool, winning is the best, and the money is AWESOME (extreme sarcasm there on the money part...) but this past 10 day have really exemplified what teamwork is to me and I would be remiss if I didn't take a minute and sincerely thank a few people for being a part of this adventure.

10 days ago the car was a motor, firewall, axles, and frame rails. Yesterday we won the Ultra4 Racing National Championship race in the Modified Stock (4500) class."

As I have said before - this stopped being "my car" in February of 2012. It became "our car".

Thank you guys.

Killer job man, you owned it. Loved being there, and love being apart of the team whenever I can.

Very cool Alan! Can't wait for the full race report to hear how all the changes worked on the car.

Daniel's preview pics looked great.
