Android apps

Google for a 1 click root type app for your phone. If there is one, it should be easy to do

This is the app you might need/want now. Alot of the other apps really suck, and I was able to break in without much effort. This one is pretty good and encrypts the data

Any other apps or games for android others like?

What ROM to go with?

Ive had good luck with CyanogenMod

http://www.cyanogenmod.org/

another good app is LBE privacy guard. It lets you control app specific permissions. Like facebook wanting to read your contacts, phone call record and GPS coords? Turn it off with LBE

I do some things with my phone like an old man.

If I need a pic from my phone to be on my computer, I use my gmail app to email it to my gmail address, then open it on the computer.

I also text my self notes to remember.

What do you use for this stuff?

you should have your phone pics sync to your picasaweb gmail account

thats how i view pics from phone/pc

you can use google now to set reminders

Thanks for the reply

I thought that was dangerous?
Also, that would mean that picasa transfers all phone photos all the time, even crappy ones I forget to delete and now just waste data transfer?

yah I have mine sent to sync only on wifi while charging, that way you can move pics you dont want on the cloud

the autobackup cloud stuff is protected with your google creds, so random people arent able to see them. Once they are online, you can make folders that are visible to public or just friends as well

Cool that makes sense. Thanks.
Generally though if I need an image I took with my cell to be on my computer, it's for a customer to design with so that's why I do the email thing for quickness.

I'm enjoying Dream Talk Recorder. Voice activated to record talking in sleep. Sensitivity settings, Start timer, and record time settings.

My favorite so far with no context: http://media.dreamtalkrecorder.net/20150627_025804_X1CFZW14YT.mp4

I also downloaded Lightning Camera. It "records 3sec into the past." Really is just keeps recording over itself in a loop and when you click the camera, it shows you the last burst of photos 3sec back so you can capture lightning or kids sporting things. I hope to try it out while shooting storms with the real camera.
