$800 or you will never see the Jeep again...

So the jeep got done today. When I asked what the cost was they said $480… that didn’t include the $320 I spent on mounting parts and the harness. Sooooo $800 and I have some killer seats… And no more money…

What was the original quote.
I have been thinking of having them do my gears

The original quote was around $200 for the install. The harness was going to be $100 and the adaptor was $120.
The harness ended up being $100 per side and $500 for the labor. The reason for the increase? When they put the seats in the first time my head was 3” above the cage. They had to pull it all out and build a custom seat cage.
Its not so much the extra $300 I had to spend… It’s the fact that none of the bars are painted and I have to take it back so he can add two mounting tabs he didn’t do… For what I paid it should be done and painted. Now if I want to paint it I have to pull everything out.
The other thing is that they should have seen that the seats were going to be too tall… The owner is my height so he should have done a test fit.
I like Todd and would still recommend him for gears and such. I’m just a little pissed at him right now…

OK, after Sibly Mansion and Blubird Mine area in the snow, it is more evident that I need gears.
