Ah, an Aussie.
The consensus in the offroad world on bull bars is that they generally end up causing more damage than without, since in a collision they just work as a pivoting piece of metal to add to the damage area.
Unless you are meaning a full bumper replacement, which since you're down there, just do the ARB thing and call it a day.
