Does anyone have access to a soda blaster?
#1

I just took apart my .22LR suppressor for it's annual cleaning. Wow. I guess I shot it WAY more than I did in 2011 and 2010. I had to soak it overnight in WD40, then pound the crap out of it to remove the baffle stack. The baffle stack is all covered with crud that is basically melted lead that has hardened and carbon fouling.

This is what they should look like.

This is basically what they look like now.

I know that soda blasting is the safest way to remove this stuff, since my baffles are made of aluminum. Sand will eat away at the aluminum. Bead blasting is another option. Does anyone have access to either one? I have a D.I.Y. soda blaster at home but I need something that offers a more constant.

I have a cabinet sand blaster, and I also have a portable sand/bead blaster. You'd just need to buy your own beads for it. I know Bobs neighbor has a soda blasting business..
