Congratulations guys! It's official. The #4511 LetzRoll Offroad / HigherGround4x4.com car is the Dirt Riot Endurance RAcing modified stock National Champion!
Woot! Woot! Sincere thank you again to everyone who made that car. We all touched it in some manner (some legal, some downright disturbing...) and I felt it became 'our car' for the KOH race.
We're headed to Bridgeport, TX for the Dirt Riot Rampage race on October 13th... kinda of 'champions race' with award ceremony, trophies, money, and dancing marmots (ok... that last part is just wishful thinking).
Anyway, mark your calendars now for the KOH EMC 2013. Race date is Thursday, Feb. 7th with the main KOH race being Friday, Feb 8th. When things get closer we'll post up a travel schedule and figure out pit crew, etc... I'm taking the entire week off and more than likely headed up on Monday the 4th, but I know that's tough on work schedules, so I'm giving you warning now. LOL Geoff will co-pilot again. There isn't much more to do to build the rig after the final Dirt Riot Race. I'll be adding a Lowrance GPS unit and a race radio, cleaning up electrical, and more than likely adding LED race lights over the Thanksgiving/Christmas time period. I do not anticipate any all nighters this year! We build a great car that stood the test of the season, upgraded the rear axle and tires, and are looking good for 2013.
2013 will include some new sponsors (yay!) including Yukon Gear and Axle providing pit tents for all 3 teams this year (instead of one pit tent we all shared) and there are good things going on with tire sponsors and others.
I plan on racing 6 Dirt Riot races (3 Southwest and 3 Mountain series) and 2 Ultra4 races (including KOH and one other to be determined based on schedule and budget).
Thanks again guys! We did it!!!! Heck of a first year of racing. 2013 is going to ROCK!
AJ
