Yea walking on crutches with broken ribs really hurts!!!!!

Hip still hurs but they are saying I have a full 6 weeks to feel my pain!!!

Seriously now, everything is scabbed over, the bruising that covers my hip and thigh is black and yellow, it is all sowllen and ITCHES!!!!!!

Basically all that means it is healing

Thanks!!!

My 2nd surgery went as planed except my Dr. had to make larger incisions than he had expected. He was able to clear all the scarring out on the joint connected to the hand. He also shortened my tendon and had to put a couple pins in the tip of my finger that will be there for 3 weeks to a month. For the record my Dr. name is Peter Campbell and he does a very good job.

Here are a couple pics of my Dr. art work.

So no rod out the finger to turn or anything? Or will it poke through later like the last one?

My Dr. said as soon as the swelling goes down the pins should stick out the end. I will make sure to post pics when that happens.

Bringing up an old topic but Lugz is allowed to Ride again!!!!!

Doctors appt today and I am cleared, hip is 85% healed (been 6 weeks), ribs are good, road rash is about gone and I can ditch the crutches, I have to use a cane for a while, prolly a couple months but he said the limp should go away within 6 months and by a year I should be complete...BUT as for now I am released to do anything that does not "Hurt" and is not "Too Stupid"...Maybe I should stay in bed!!!!

Anyway, thank you for all the prayers, he said if they would have opted for the surgury it would have benn between 12 and 18 month recovery.

God was great again!!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I got the pin out of my finger last week. It did come through the skin like the Dr. said, this is the only pic I got of it and it was taken with my phone so sorry about the quality.

That is the pin sticking out the tip.
