Things to bring
- A light pack
- Lunch
- Water water water. I hiked it last weekend roughly 8 miles round trip and used all 3L in my Camelbak.
- Water shoes. There are multiple water crossings on the trail and once you get to the end you're hiking the creek.
- Camera. This hike is beautiful, just mind the water.
- A no whining attitude.
- Flashlight (just in case).
- Change of shoes and/or clothes when you return.
- Basic first aid. I usually carry a lot of first aid gear but it never hurts to have a surplus. No cell reception means help is a long walk out.
My friends are meeting me at my house here in downtown at 6:30 but we can establish another meeting place further north for you west side guys. Maybe Sportsman's Warehouse at the I17 & 101?
