The Jug 6-17-12
#1
It's been on my list for a few years so when Chris Kredit said, "Hey have you heard of the Ju..." I interrupted and said, "Let's go." Of course he has a brother who has a friend who has a girlfriend who has a cousin who dates a Cardinals cheerleader etc etc so it became a little too peopley for me but oh well. I also let him know we were really past the end of the good flow time but the pools would still almost all be there.
LOR Chris loves rope and brought a bunch of gear which worked out well for the other folk.
I'd like to go back when the flow was pretty solid; It was just a trickle this time. We made a couple of the slides work still and they rocked.

The jump was fun at the end where most took the rope.
Oh and I have no say in the matter, this is what my body does when it's in the air

You know, my turtle would love it here

The mandatory jump or rappel

This is the jump. Just aim for the pelican case and you'll be fine. But you have to travel along a long ledge to get to it first and not slip on the uber-slippery granite on the way.

good times. ya i agree it was too big a group but it all worked out. im thinkin in the fall hit it up again maybe just a few of us and then april/may would be a good time to do it. next is Barney Spring Canyon.

That looks awesome. I'm in for a trip there.

Skatch, is it the limb flailing or the girlish screaming that you can't control? Either way, you get man points for not taking the rope.

Very cool! I dug the pics on FB too. Glad you had a good time and glad to see Chris out!
