I am only 5'9" and the post '03 TJ's have the seats even lower than the earlier TJ's that were already 2 low for most people under 6'.
I saw an article by "Stu Olson" about some machined seat blocks. The article was really good and had me curious. Read it here:

So, I ordered a set from http://www.buchananworks.com/html/jeep_parts.html, well actually, you email him and he will call you for credit card info to place the order. They are $64.95 plus $10 for shipping. I thought it a little high but went for it, they were there in a few days and I put them in tonight in about 20 minutes. I can now se the whole hood and part of the front fender without leaning forward and when I want to look at the font tire for rock placement, the door edge is not grinding into my armpit (full doors) and I can actually lean out and see the tire. They are great so far!!!
Look around Stu's sit, he has some good write-ups
Thanks guys
