It's sad, I see the sunflower fire at work and I see the gladiator fire at home.

my cousin is headed up to the crown king fire tomorrow morning with phoenix fire. He will be working as part of a hotshot crew

New: Canyon Fire (NE of Blue Ridge Reservoir near Hwy 87)

Location: Approximately 15 miles northeast of Blue Ridge Reservoir near Highway 87 in the Jacks Canyon area. About 70 percent of the fire’s perimeter is active, and burning toward the northeast in an area mostly populated by juniper.

Reported: 7:22 a.m. 6-30-12
