cynical joys of work

Do you ever do anything at your job just to see what type of reaction you can get out of someone? One example for mine is password resets. Of course I can reset it to something simple like abc1234 but what fun is that? I just got this email from someone in singapore....

"Hi Chris,

Is there any way we can change to a simpler password, ie: amex123?
Reason for that is, I cant change the password my own upon the first login.
I uses this stratus system very often for our BAU activities. The occurance of having my password can be very high.
Hence, I would appreciate if you could assist me on this.
Thank you. "

I had changed her password to f53$d1B!

Why yes I can probably think of a couple of things I've done at work but one comes to mind that I particularly like. A little mean I admit but I feel they may have had it coming and deserved it.

In case you get confused I'm a dental assistant. I had this one patient who was being really rude and I jokingly said to them that they had better be nice to me or I would let the water pull up and not suction it out so I couldn't hear them complain.

Well, I warned them and they chose to not listen so either they were really thirsty or thought they were a fish and liked being under water. :)

My wifes group got one of there guys here at Boeing.

Took all the drawers out of his desk and then turned it upside down, then put the drawers back in. I thought this was funny (and deserved) enough but then they turned the desk back right side up!! Next morning he opend the middle drawer and had a lap full of pens, paper clips and such. Took him several drawers to figure it out!
