Planning a short trip to Butcher Jones area for New Years. We will be meeting at the QT on Ellsworth and University at 9:30. All are welcome, kids invited, not sure of dificulty as I have never been there. This will be my first trail in my Jeep.

i might meet you out there for a romp at the jones want to see what the restricted areas look like now. there is a bunch of them out there. butcher jones is as hard as you want to make it. there are some cool play areas there. i will be coming from the west side so i will meet you in the parking lot

All cool play areas are closed... there is now a designated "road" straight to cove 1, with the option to head to cove 2 via a very marked road. Went out there about a month or so ago and there's now one way in and one way out.
