A few of us braved cold temps and headed up to a new to me trail, we met up at various places along the way and were off the trailers and wheelin by 8:30..... we worked our way throught the maze of roads and campsites along the creek, which was running pretty good, and found our way out the back side with only a couple of wrong turns....Dan had run this trail before so he took over as trip leader for most of the day. Thanks Dan for keeping us going the right direction. This trail is an "in and out" so we had to run everything twice......

We had 7 rigs for the day and we pretty much kept moving as this trail is not the most difficult but there is alot of elevation change and deep ruts to keep you awake;


The views were constant;

Just to the right of the bridge is where we parked our trailers;

Looking toward Phoenix with our one play area in front of us;


Looking back up as we dropped into the valley;


Not alot of mud but the ruts were still tricky at times;

I just see a dirt road, no trail :p Still, looks like fun! Thanks for sharing.

Once we made it over the top we all got movin again;

We made it to the end of the road about noon for lunch;

After lunch we were on our way back;



We had a little delay on the way back as BOVADS tried to mess around on a rock and proceeded to get hi centered and took out his rear driveshaft in the process, he spent the rest of the day in front wheel drive or on the strap


The Beeline highway;

From here it was a few miles of annoying rocks back to the trailers. Another great day of wheelin...... had a great time.

OK fine, dirt road..... you gotta point but it was still better than the Mall..... ;)

MS is a fun trail. Havent run it in years. Looks to be about the same.
