As anybody knows who owns a jeep the dome hoods and the heat that it collects is very undesirable last time i looked my optima battery was so swelled up i thought it was going to explode,but after cool down back to its normal size.Anyways i decided to do something about it i contacted A TO Z Fabrication and i think this will work out well some pics, job not completed yet and will post more pics on completion....T.C.http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc158/ThomCampbell/002-2.jpg

That's going to look sick, Thom. I ran hood vents on my XJ... i don't know if it helped the cooling much or not, but you could just SEE the heat pouring out of them on a summer day, so I can't help but think it had a positive impact.

I've always loved those louvered vents on TJ's. Are you adding a drip pan underneath for rain/snow or just leaving it open flow?

You can't go wrong with Zach from AtoZ. He's a great guy. those should work awesome.

ya going to leave it open flow,with that 10 blade explorer fan and heavyer fan clutch should push out lot of hot air

Ya Zach is a good guy,in fact he came down $60 on the original price of the vent

Those will look great! I know on my old XJ, I installed hood vents I picked up from Gen Right and it never over heated again..
