Glock Compact in 9mm, 40SW, and 357Sig + ammo!
#1

I assembled this package, but have found I like shooting my 45acp guns more than anything. So, this package needs to go.

The firearm is a compact Glock 23 in 40SW. Compact as in a 4" barrel. It's a 13+1 capacity and comes with 3 factory 13rnd hi-cap magazines. It also has factory night sights. This is a Gen-3, which means it has a tactical rail under the barrel finger grooves on the front strap of the grip. I also installed an extended slide release, and a 3.5# trigger disconnector, a grip plug that doubles as a magazine guide and a Sprinco recoil absorbing guide rod & spring set.

I added a Wolf 9mm conversion barrel. It's a match grade barrel and is threaded for a flash hider, compensator, or suppressor. It also includes three factory 15rnd hi-cap magazines.

I also another purchased three 15rnd hi-cap magazines. They are not factory. They are made by a Korean contractor that is Glock authorized. With that being said, I will admit that the magazine springs are CRAP, and need to be changed out. They were CRAP right out of the package... sucks. All they need are some quality springs, and they're good to go. A $12 expense.

I also added a Wolf .357Sig conversion barrel. Great ballistics. Similar to a 125gr 357 magnum, but you get 13+1 rounds in the magazine! This cartridge shares the same magazine as the 40SW.

For this .357Sig barrel, I also have 450+ rounds of Speer Gold Dot hollow points. They are 125gr and extremely powerful! See video at the end of this posting.

** What's it worth? **

The gun is $500
The 9mm barrel is $130
The .357sig barrel is $100
The Sprinco guide rod is $60
The .357sig ammo is $ $430
The 8 extra mags is $120
The plug, disconnector, and slide release is about $50

This package is worth over $1,300. I'm offering it for sale to a HG4X4 member for $800. It will also be posted on other forum boards and auction sites for $1000.

If you already own a Glock 23 or Glock 32, and would be interested in either conversions, let me know. I would be willing to sell off the conversions separately @ 30% off current retail.

Thanks!

That is a slick set up... Didn't even know you could do something like that.

Yeah, a lot of guns share the same slide and frame. Since the cartridge of the 40SW is so similar to the 357sig, it was easy. Wolf did a great job in designing a 9mm conversion. Works great! The best thing about the 357sig is that it's a bottleneck cartridge. So, jams are almost non-existent! As long as your bullet's overall length is below the max, you're good to go! The recoil is lighter than the 40SW but is snappier. It takes a few magazines to get acquainted to the cartridge. Here's a good video on the conversion to .357sig.

Looks like a good trade for Trailer parts/labor :)

:) Maybe we can work something out.

LOL...

I just edited the posting. I forgot to list some other key value items. Also, I just did an ammo count. There is 435 rounds of ammo. The actual value of this gun (retail) is $1390 + tax. LOL. Man, someone better buy it before I change my mind!

Would you take 10 dollars a week for 100 weeks. :)

Stop it. :-)

If there is a serious buyer, I could make some kind of payment arrangements. Especially for a fellow brother of the faith. :)

I wish I could say yes to that but Dave Ramsey says I have to pay all my debts first. Plus I just bought Alan's jeep so my wife would smote me upside the head with my Bible if I did. :)

Serious smotage...

Yes, very serious. Luckily I have a very comfortable couch. I would hate for her to be uncomfortable. :)

One thing I've learned is to never cross the wife. She's a better shooter than I am! I'm also a student of Dave Ramsey and I'm on Baby Step 6. That's partly the reason I'm selling this firearm. I have a trailer to pay for and I won't let myself tap into my emergency fund nor will I reduce my extra contributions to my mortgage payment. Therefore, I have to force myself to sell a toy so I can fund a new toy. Kinda sucks, but I'm determined to get to Baby Step 7.

We are still struggling with Baby Step 2 but we are getting there. Having 5 kids has not helped but we are trying.

Sold... well, most of it. My package got parted out.
