Here's how it looked before the tear down. Bought it stock a few years back. Went with an RK kit and 33's, then to 35's, etc...

This is what I have accomplished in the last week or so... I have a Ford 60 front and matching 10.25 for the rear I will start slingin under it this weekend. The plan was and still is for 40's but I came across a set of 37's for a good price to at least get me rolling. That was the last thing I was waiting on...

Joe and Dan came over and gave me a hand mounting beadlocks

Some parts...

Minor Details...

Tied the cage (A-pillar) into the body

Built a simple mount for lights

37's next to my WJ

That cage is SICK from the front view. Can't wait until it's done and we can all shake it down with you.

Great build!

Great build!

Thanks man, Hunter did the main portion of the cage about 6 months back, basically, everything between the A and D pillar's. I finally got a bender so I am doing the rest. I can't wait to get it rolling, hoping to have it wheelable within about a month and will hit TM.

I hope to be back up and running by then too. TM for a shake down run sounds like a plan!

Got a bit more done...

This gives the term "metal on metal" a whole new meaning

Axle in with the stretch. Approximately 6" of rear stretch.

Very nice Tom. Looks like a great project.

You just flippin the rear springs of have custom ones made?
#15
I just flipped them then grabbed an extra inch with the Ruff Stuff perches. I did have the springs built about a year ago though. They are 9 leaf, double military wrapped, rebound wrapped and diamond cut. I plan to add a traction bar pretty quick after I get it rolling to try and keep them alive. Your rig inspired a bit of this build as well.

Got the front 60 out of the 350 last night...

Killer!

If you plan on going hardcore, 4 link it now. That is the biggest mistake I made was not doing that. Just my 2 cents

I will be going "hardcore" I guess you can say. I will destroy these leafs and will link it at that point. I would like to try the leafs first though. I've got enough invested into them at this point....

Haven't gotten much done lately but did start tearing the 60 down.
