Willow Springs
November 12th ( poll date closed)
meet time is 7am at the qt on greenfield and the 60
on trail by 8am

to do this trip all vehicles have to have a pass which is good for six months, free, and has all the pad lock codes on it. there is an area to park tow vehicles also.

have to get at the mesa ranger station on higley.

33's min
lockers
some body armor
i have to check but i think the height requirement is 48" (i know alan you are close)
this trail features something for every rig. there are notches and lines for buggies. think of a cross between sunflower and terminator with a couple diehard obstacles for good measure.

last trip i was on had plenty of breakage, body damage, and a roll over. there are plenty of bypasses for most areas and a good spotter will get you though the other areas. i have not finished the last mile of this trail as i had to help another jeep out that day. plan to be out 6-8 hours. it is one way in and the same way out.

I voted for the 12th simply to give the Ghost enough time to be finished. The 5th works for me as well as long as I have a heep. LOL

Thanks for putting this together. Is the height requirement going to be checked with shoes ON or shoes OFF? It will make a different on if I can go or not. : )

I would vote for the 12th. There are a few of us (most dont wheel anyway) that are in a race on the 5th. Think the Dodge would make it... ;)

bringing life back to this trip.

reminder you need to get the pass at the mesa ranger station. it is free good for six months and it gives you access to a few other trails in that area. anyone who is running this trail has to have a pass.

my "in" is a race against the clock. I take the TJ from Joe to Andrew on the 31st. If she's back by this trip, I'm in, if not... well, you'll find me at the bar.

I don't have a spare and my tires are garbage. I'll see if I can get Lenny to go and ride with him.

Is Geoff running this?
