It's been 3 months and I've been monkeying with it. I had used velcro straps to tie it all down and ran into several problems.
1. Since this was printed on banner material, there was no air flow. Thus, it lifted when traveling over 30mph and slapped/flapped on the center sound bar. Very noisy.
2. The velcro straps had NO stretch. So, the banner material ended up doing the stretching and kinda warped it with the summer sun beating down on it.
I came up with a solution. Cut the sucker in half, to allow for air flow. Replace velcro with bungee balls.
Mike helped me cut it, seam the ends, and add new grommet holes. I ordered some bungee balls (SpiderBalls) from SpiderWebShade.com.
The results were better than I expected. There is still a little lift, but not much. No noise, either. The bungee balls help keep it tight and gave enough "give" so the banner material shouldn't warp anymore (hopefully). Here's the finished pics.
Final cost: $70.00.
