I finally found out who...
#1
Has been snapping my line out at Lake Pleasant. (well at least one of the culprits.

We hit Pleasant from time to time for Catfish (especially since access to the Verde along the 42 is so jacked up still), and 18 to 20 inchers are usually about what we find. Plenty of meat, but this one, we had to tire out and thank goodness J was ready with the net. I like to think that the big'un that had snapped off his line could have been the one I landed, so he had helped wear him out for me.

I took some doing and pessimistic effort, but we got her in.
Longer than other cats for sure (24.5), but the most noticeable right of the bat was its girth. (6+ lbs if I remember correctly J?)

Pics never do justice, so I took some perspective shots.

I give you fish with dollar:

Im sure we would have caught more if my dogs had not kept getting caught in our fishing line. I tried but could not keep them out of the water.

Mike did a great job reeling that in and keeping him under the water so I could grab him with the net. It wasnt till we got him on solid ground that we realized how big he was.

Yes it was just over 6 lbs.
