Heading into LT..

The "8 Day Buggy" gettin it done

Lenny making it look easy

Geoff heading to rescue a buggy with his XJ

What that? Oh.. yeah, that's just two CHEROKEES pulling back over a buggy.

I know you can't see it, but that is Alan driving Joes' jeep.. lucky!

Joe trying to save his jeep from Alan :) lol

Gotta love that paint job... beautiful.

Geoff being awesome, it's what he does.

He needs 40s :)

Don't recommend running DH on 37s

Amazes me how those 37s look so small... Even Geoffs 40s are dwarfed by these rocks.

Anybody in here?

Last bolder field climbing out of DH

Geoff was getting bored, so he thought he'd spice it up a little bit.

"I don't wanna look, I don't wanna look"

"dang it...I looked.."

Winching to a more open spot as to not ruin the tire

"Look Mike! Just for you :)"

Getting himself between a rock and a...well, rock.

He managed to flip a rock up between the top of his tire and his fender... skills.

Geoff bent his shackles a bit lol

All in all, had a great day! It was fun to run the trail that originally got me hooked on 4wheeling (Die Hard) again and always love seeing everyone and meeting new faces.

WHAT a great time. Here is how Die Hard felt... LOL. Needless to say, Danny had a incredible time.

This one has a little different feel from my previous videos. :)

...and I LOVE the new Contour HD camera... still learning, but getting more and more ideas.

I had a great time Saturday. Thanks everybody for letting me tag along! It was awesome to meet everybody and put names and faces with screen names and avatars. I took a few pictures with my phone. Here are some of the better ones.

Thank you Chris for getting pics of my Jeep. Being at the back of the pack it is easy to be overlooked. Linda, was worried the kids would freak out if she got out so she stayed in the Jeep.

Most excellent, Mike. I love the Jeep dance party shot and Geoff going down the buggy line backwards.

and guys... i have to say one more time: Thank You. This was such an awesome run. Everyone took care of their own business, my cousin Danny had an INCREDIBLE time and (quite frankly) with the quality of rigs out there, we looked like bad asses. LOL

i did start a thread on the VJC (yes, with all the drama, q-tips, sex change, drunk driving, getting stoned, missing persons drama CRAP on there) so that we could actually show what actually wheeling is all about. We did that. So, if you haven't posted your pics on the VJC yet, go ahead... brag a little, and show 'em what a HigherGround run looks like. LOL We even made LT look challenging with all the cool buggy lines everyone took and the excellent array of pictures that were taken.

I had a blast. i appreciate each of you and I'm so glad as many people made it out as did. Nice to see old friends like Goeff and Yellowsub getting dirty again, and nice to run with new friends as well.

Kudos, guys.

Finally got some time to post pics. My wife stayed in the truck most of the time because we didn't know how the kids would react to offroading. Little did we know they wanted me to go where the buggies went. LOL.

Bubba

Notice her grin. That's my daughter Morgan.

Bubba again.

Everywhere you look there's a hall monitor on the VJC.

Hope I fixed this shot enough to their liking
