Tonight, he drove to Scottsdale Gun Club and shot the HK45, Glock 21, and the XDm 45. Although SGC said they had the FNP, they didn't. He said that in comparison, he liked the XDm45 the best. The recoil was more manageable, the grip was better and it got his grip higher on the frame, and is was 50% cheaper, since it came with 5 magazines and two mag carriers (along with the holster and hard case). His first choice was the HK45, but since the grip set the hand lower, the muzzle "snapped" more. SGC said the FNP was similar to the XDm except that the grip was slightly larger. Overall, he still liked the XDm 45 and is going to buy one.
