Sorry... was just re-reading and I missed this the first time.

If you want the honest truth, we prayed that thing up the hill and back down. Ivan and I both. We literally asked for the hand of God to protect us and to help us make it to where we can get it with the truck. I fully believe the only thing keeping it together was God holding it together with this fingers pinched together. We are both very thankful.

I would love to join this run...been itchin to get on some rocks for a while. I still haven't resolved my Dana30 issue so I'm running stock shafts right now....I know that's taking a risk but I figure as long as I have some trail spares for now I should be ok. Any thoughts? or does anyone know where I can get some stock shafts I can use as trail spares until I can upgrade my front axle?

u-pull-it junk yards are usually the cheapest place to get them.

Sorry guys but I'm out. After looking over the jeep I noticed my two rear tires are way too dry rotted to continue to drive on, the entire inner side wall could go at any time. They were still deflated from the last trip and looked really bad so unfortunately the jeep is parked for a while. I just don't have the scratch to buy tires right now. Really wanted to go on this run. Oh well. If you you guys hear of a really good deal on some 35/12.50/15 let me know

Guys, there is a HIGH probability my rig won't be ready for this. Auto tranny is still not in and it's gotta go back to Andrew for coilovers still, even when that IS complete... and I'm just not really confident that's going to happen, not with the holiday weekend coming up.

So... 2 options.

Option 1: Someone else step up as trip leader and have the day as planned, minus me for my own stinkin' run if my rig isn't ready.

Option 2: Reschedule for a date to be determined, but my cousin doesn't get to go wheeling.


I personally vote for #1 since we've got so many sick rigs signed up and everyone has made plans... kills me this might be happening, but it is what it is right now.
