All good. Found one cheap on CL. Picking it up tomorrow, XJ comes home Saturday, putting in transfer case Sunday. Good times.

Anyway. It didn't work out. I'll repair it and sell it again and give him back what he paid me and go from there. That was our agreement from the get go. If he wanted to back out he could. It was a friendly buddy deal wih no hard feelings. I wasn't counting on the tcase, but it is what it is. I grabbed one for my year model on CL for $150. I sold my welder for $160. Coincidence? I think not. Always wanted to change out a transfer case...

That will be fun Alan. make sure you have some long extensions and a wobble adapter or socket. Combinations of those make the top nuts easier to get to. Call me if you have issues.
