Just plan on meeting at the Baja Gas Station ( I think that's what it's called?) east side of the 87 at Fort McDowell Rd at 7am

Bill and Russ ~ do you guys want to meet west side and parade, or just link up on the way out there and meet at the station out there at 7?

Is it wrong that I am now telling time in "how many hours until I get to wheel again?" format?

Thank you Alan for updating the info in the first post of this thread.

Why, you're welcome and thank YOU. My house at 6 AM Sunday? : )

Meh, I really wanted to go up camping/hiking etc, but everyone backed out so far.

Camp and hike all weekend, tell me where you are and I'll pick you up Sunday morning at some access point to your remote wilderness lifestyle and I'll drop you back off where ever you happen to be adventuring when we are done. No one is going to be awake at my house when I leave, so if it's 4 AM or 6 AM, no one cares... Let me know.

Hmmmm.....

Driver's it seems silly to say, and it is even to just look at it (dramatic image visualization pause), but at the end of the creek, when you are just starting out at the bottom of the hill before it turns, use your skinny pedal lightly. It's been THREE times when spider gears were broken in that exact spot. It's not a hard spot, it's hardly anything to look at twice, it just has something to it that make rear spiders go pop on the ramp up.

Definitely do the loop for views, tress, and more trail. When you get over and back into the next creek, hike into the mine there on the S creek side. Dirt horizontal walk in for a good ways (maybe shallow water at first). One on the left I believe. We put a HG card in the back on our first Manmping trip. There may also be fresh apples on the tree there.

The Sunflower mines around the facility are short and pretty played out. We rapelled into one of the main ones for some lower level stuff. A good but hidden one is here

Thanks for the info Mike, will definitely look into it.

Buddy at work wants to run this trail with us on Sunday, he has a quad-cab F250 with a 3 inch lift, 4x4.. Is the trail passable with something that big anymore? In the past I've seen a stock Expedition run it, and a friend of mine ran it with me with a 98 silverado, 8 inch lift with 37s.. I know in the past, it wouldn't be a problem but I'm just not sure anymore. I don't want to give him wrong information and it be a problem for everyone else
