planning to head upto sedona may 23-27. we are going to stay here http://oakcreekterrace.com/ . broken arrow is on the list of for sure trails to run and a couple more from the wells book. going to be wife, dogs and i. squirms is going to disneyland with my parents. plans for some hiking also included in plans. it works perfect to avoid the crowd coming up for the holiday weekend!

want to get a least two days of trails in and then the rest will be relaxing. going to see how deedee deals with the trails also.

well we are now in sedona at oak creek terrace. it is really nice 70 and a little breezy. trip up was very smooth the jeep did really good. about 3/4 of the way up is when we hit some pretty strong wind gust and i was blown around a little bit but other than that it was a good trip up. i will post updates as we go. this whole trip is play it by ear and do what we want and feel like. it is just so quite out here and the views are to die for. i don't know if i am coming back or not now.

Very cool. The last time I was up there doing any wheelin was about a year ago and the only trail that was open was broken arrow. Would definitely like to run more of those trails. Have fun on your Vaca Russ

day two in sedona.

i think i have a new convert to wheeling. we did broken arrow and soldiers pass today. deedee had a blast on broken arrow and wants to go back wed. works for me since i forgot my camera. she really enjoyed the steps but what really got her was some of the play areas where i was getting the jeep up in the air. i will have pics when we go back out there again. i don't think i could be one of those jeep tour guides, i would have to break the rules too much. we were leaving one area and one of the guys came up asiking if i broke a coil told him no just disconnected
