So i got my taxes done and money will on the way. So today i called up Bryan and Barbaric Metal Fab and set my delivery date of the rig for this friday. So today I came home from work and stripped the jeep clean of its interior.

I like where this thread is going

I will post progress pics as the cage gets started.

Very cool my brother. Very cool. Can't wait to see the cage. Interior extruding to an exo for the roof? Nice.
#5
aren't you going to need a front seat to get it to the shop? or are you going with a stack of phone books?
#6
Yeah Alan inside cage with outside roof. Can't wait for it to be done! It will have hoops on the inside with supports that the outside will connect to, but the main portion of the cage roof will be on the outside. I will post progress pics as it goes on. Bryan at Barbaric and I have spoken at length about what I am looking for as far as protection and strength. His work is great and on paper this cage is gonna be awesome and very strong. I did put the drivers seat and seat belt back in to drive it to the shop. I did find a rust hole under the carpet that I will have to cut out and weld up along the way too. The plan is for some nice new seats in front with harnesses and possibly an aftermarket rear seat that will be move back slightly to give the kids a little more leg room. I guarantee lots of progress pics! Stay tuned.

those are dime a dozen.... just pull it and find one, seriously you live in the desert lol an LED light bar is WAY more useful then a snorkel

I found this helpful. :)

I think you'll be much happier with the protection and interior room this gives you than the once in a while usefullness of a snorkle.
Besides, I made it through a river without one. ...kinda
