A different thread on the fugliest cars on the road
#1
In another post, Dana mentioned the Jeep Liberty.
I really just can't get used to that one, but it made me think about some other vehicles that companies should hand out airline barf bags to those who don't buy their cars, but actually have to look at them out on the road.

So not to hijack Dana's thread I ask the question here:
What vehicles on the road just on looks alone just about make you want to gouge your eyes out?

Pontiac Aztec
I swear the Pontiac Aztec had to be unveiled to the world like the Homermobile did, without any research or care on market's reflux of stomach contents.

Honda Element
The tree huggers car of choice, the Honda Element rubs me the wrong way. Even more so than the Aztec, it looks like they ran out of metal for the car and just made the rest out of plastic.

Chevy Avalanche
Notice how long the Chevy Avalanche kept the harsh squared out fenders. I bet that designer has a restraining order against him from all drawing utensils besides Denny's Crayons for the rest of his life.

The same thing happened with the Toyota Tundra's "space-age" tailights frenched into the rear step side fenders. Now you see it, now you don't.

Honda Ridgeline
A recent newcomer, the Honda Ridgeline, looks like it could be driving forwards or backwards like they started making two different trucks that failed during production so someone just welded the two fronts that they had already made together. Then they convinced the American buyers, the reason they tranny's gear indicator had no Reverse, but a Drive and Drive II, was b/c it was produced in Japan and that's the way they did it on that side of the world.

The Scion N-scale
I really believe the Scion was privately made to replace old mail trucks, and then the investors backed out or something. So now they can only sell it to kids that can't figure out daily which way to turn their baseball caps. I pitty the Scion that gets into a scrape anything but another cardboard box.

Did I miss any? What current eyesores turn your stomach and/or chap your...
