OK OK I get the point, you all want me to tell you about my vehicle.
Well it all started a long time ago in Sunflower when Chris decided to go out on his own. I really wish we had pics because he did something that I have never seen before. He was able to highcenter on both axles at the same time leaving him totally stuck. Im sitting in the dentist chair when I get a call from Mike. I send the call to voice mail since I cant talk with dentists hands in my mouth (yes it was his hands). The phone rings again and I signal that I need to answer it because he only calls back to back if it is really important. I answer and he says "can you leave work", I answer back with where is Chris.
2 hours later we arrive in Sunflower in my stock Nissan 4x4 truck. By the time I got to Chris I had bottomed out on every rock in the wash and was wondering how I was going to tow his out since he blew his tail shaft in the transfer case trying to get unstuck. By the time we reached a smoth road I new it was time to get a new vehicle.
Not long after that while I was working at a Nissan dealer one of my customers came back in with his 2 month old 04 TJ with 1200 miles on it. He wanted to trake it in and get something that was a little more him. It was lifted, 33 inch tires, eagle alloyw wheels and chrome bumpers and step rails. I decided this would be the perfect vehicle so I made him an offer and he took it. For the record I got a gread deal.
That was in April of 2004 and now it has:
3 inch Tarafex lift
Removed all chrome (thank god, it looked too pretty)
Got rock crawler wheels
33 inch Good Year MTR's
BTF sliders
BTF front diff skid
Custom design and built front bumper with steering skid
Custom design and built rear tire carrier bumper
Tuffy duel overhead console (modified to fit the 04)
ARB Snorkel
Wrangler Netting
Uniden PRO520XL CB radio
Hood vents ( used H2 side vents and modified)
I have also added a couple of little extras and skids
There is a lot of work that still needs to be done to this vehicle and I am slowly but surley getting there.
