Higher Ground Mod Day 2011
#1
I know at least two HG'ers that received Jeep parts last Christmas and beyond that haven't gotten any install time and are filling up a closet at home.

Last time's wrenching:
http://www.higherground4x4.com/forums/showthread.php?1566-Mod-Day-7-13-08

Location: OffroadAZ's house - 75th Ave and Cactus

Date: After church on Sunday Jan 30th. You CCV'ers can propose a breakfast/service caravan if you'd like.

Meet Time: Noon-thirty

Location: TBD (speak up if you think you got the space for it and would like to host. We've used an awesome shop before but that may still be filled with hail pocked cars)

Wrenchers: Post up if you'd like to participate along with your install/fix list

What to bring:
  • Your own tools. You may borrow accordingly but don't rely on others. Label your tools, or bring a nice tub to keep 'em together. If you're needing a specialty tool, post up- someone may have one they can bring
  • Pizza money
  • Drinks to share
  • Gas in your tank
  • No little fingers

I have parking for about 7 jeeps at my place if needed

I am working the entire weekend of the 22/23rd and cannot be available (nor my garage) for the 23rd date if it's then...

Chris does have good space...

I got some stuff I'll have to do on my own separately

But for Mod Day I'd like to:

  • Wire up new horns
  • Maybe do a power inverter mod
  • Double shear a pitman arm
  • Hook up the reverse lights

Can't say I"ll have anything to to do on my truck, but I"d be more then happy to bring some tools and help/hang out! Depending on the size of the group I could fit 3 or 4 jeeps at my place, one IN the shop and 3 just outside of it. Plenty of tools, huge air compressor, welders, plasma cutter, grinders, drills, etc.. let me know

My dad is coming to town and I'm taking him wheeling for the first time ever the weekend of the 22

That's awesome Bill!
#11
I've got plenty of stuff to do to the jeep. I can fit 3 in my garage.
#12
Ok, No others have spoken so looks like the 30th it is.

We'll weigh Avis's pro welder / con east side points against Chris's locale unless of course the shop opens up.

Woot! Woot! I can do the 30th. Once we have a location pinned down, we'll set up the west side parade. LOL

Items for me (on the TJ):

Paint (or if painting complete, graphics work)
Lights
In Cab Winch Controller

the 30th sounds good to me.
I need to mess with my stereo, the last big storm found it's way in and fried the thing.
