I turned on the facebook integration for the forum. Play around with it, see how it works, let me know if you like it or not

I also installed the "helpful posts" mod. You can rate posts as helpful or not, have fun with that too

The helpful ratings help a user's reputation so...

I still find it annoying. I like the facebook "like" feature, though. Is there a way to just give rep points and be done with it? That would be more helpful. 8)

yah we can do that too, i can turn it on/off on certain forums as well, maybe just the tech section? then leave rep points for everything else?

now THAT would be awesome. The helpfulness in the tech thread is great.

Also, I love the little messages that go along with the green dots now. Too funny.

Finally (now that i have a smart phone...) I really enjoyed the HG4X4 Live feature we did for Moab. Can we turn that back on and post instructions so that when any one of us is out wheelin we can basically blog about it in real time with phone pics? Web Wheelin' to the next level! I would like to keep it to trail runs only (or Jeep related events) and not have pictures of what everyone is having for lunch, etc... (there is a HigherGround4X4 Twitter account for that...).

Alan, I can look at doing the hg4x4 live thing again, it shouldnt be too hard to set up. Maybe make it a front page link?

Alan told me today he knew about the "Was this post helpful" feature but didn't know we also had it where you could add rep with a specific message/reason on a person's post. The star button was tough to see so I made it yeller. You can check your rep points and those messages by clicking "Settings," one of the places that resides is at the top right of your forum screen next to "My Profile." Or I think you can click on your own star.
