Some of the places we've camped:
#1
My friend from old, and outside of the desert region wondered what ground did we camp upon. Hudled amongst the rocks or nestled in the cacti.
Instead of responding to just her, I figured I'd create a post so others could see as well. If you have a photo I'm missing, please feel free to add.
If you were a campee, please add your own comments or ratings to these trips.

Jeep Island on Verde

Cave of the Bells

Preacher Canyon

Martinez Canyon

Sunflower

Bear Canyon Lake

I think J has some better ones of where his dogs wandered off and the K's have better one from the lake.

I love camping at Bear Canyon Lake 'cause there's usually no one down at the spot we hike to... not to mention it's right on the lake. I liked hiking all the way around the lake (you run into people) and also fishing. Ha, and feeding Oscar crawfish!

I used to think it was normal camping in a tent, but my absolute favorite now is camping in my sleeping bag directly under the thousands of stars in the sky.

Nothing beats the pics of camping between two Jeeps!

The cooler season is coming up. Let's go camping!!!!!!!!!!!

Found another one of our nice set ups at the lake (for the record, the tent was for dogs):

So very roomy inside.

What's a tent anyway? Man work good with hands. Make shelter of own.

I really like camping by the water, the dogs love to swim and I like having a fishing pole tossed out. I will look for some more pics when I get my computer hooked back up.

cool stuff, I guess I'm just too old for those tent set ups....? If a trail ride consisted of one night then i'd do it but past that I just can't do it anymore, would if it was all I had but I dont......:)=)
