Anybody else go north for trees? Post pics if you got 'em.
Seemed like every third car coming down the hill had one strapped up top.

Spshl J invited me to go with as he scouted on the rim for a tree for his fam to return in a couple weeks for. We made a camping trip out of it. 20 degrees ain't nothin :) It was just a couple inches of snow so far.

It was an awesome trip, thanks for coming Skats. Good Idea by the way about putting our sleeping bags together and sleeping naked, i was warm the entire night. Once again you seem to amaze me with the pics.

Headed up north but not for a tree. We're just south of flag and it's snowing again.

we went to find our tree 2 wkends ago. we went in by woods canyon lake. it snowed all day on us. with wind chill it was around 15-20 maybe. i had a great time as i have gear for the cold and snow. we got our tree and my parents. weve been doing it for 27yrs.

That's a cool tradition!
Jonathan and I are going up this Saturday with my brother & sister in law and their two kids.
They are planning on taking their Christmas family pic up there, wearing their ugly Christmas sweaters. I'm excited!

I hunted in my garage and was able to hunt and kill my fake tree again this year.

It's up and purdy...

I forgot to get a permit and I'm pretty sure by now they're all out. We got ours from the forest around Alpine last year. Good stuff and great pictures!

Yay for our hand-picked Christmas tree. I'll post a pic as soon as it's decorated... we're lacking ornament since this is our first tree.
