Did some calling around on this trail and was finally reffered to mdot of all places and they informed me that this trail is going to be closed for a long time.:(

What is the exact reason it's closed?

i think chris is right it may never open again. it was strange when rhe ranger told me mdot is in charge now.

actually the grant was approved. there is work being done now on it and hopefully the water will go down enough at the back of the lake to let jeff finish the needed work. but i know hes putting in for another grant this coming year to finish stuff if it doesnt get done. im probly gonna help him with the work when he starts working on it again i a few wks hopefully.

So there is hope then. If you need help or anything, i bet e could round up quite a crew to go out and get stuff done.
