#1
Looking for a how to on pulling a 46RE trans from a 2001 ram 1500 4x4... 4x4 being the key word... I have found the 2wd info sheet but cant find the 4x4 one.

This is going to be a great weekend.

Unless you have one of those fancy tranny jacks, just get a couple other hydraulic ones to make the movin, dropping and rolling easier.
Just two by four a jack top for some weight displacement and put it on the tranny pan. Disconnect your shafts and wires and bring the whole thing t-case and all down.
Or, what day did you need me? I fit under your truck better than Jack anyway.

Leave the t-case connected... Wow, that seems like it would work...
I think I have it covered for help. My Dad keeps offering so I had to say yes. I just need to pick up the new trans and then drop it at AO for a once over.
If you have nothing better to do I wouldn't say no but I am not asking you to give up a saturday

Thanks Chris. I should be good. I have a few stands.

Side note... Who would have though that a dealership would have had the best price on a torque converter? And they have it in stock.
