It is Crystal cave you are speaking of, and it is already closed.

Crystal Cave, Chiricahua Mountains
Coronado National Forest, Douglas Ranger District
This cave is gated and requires a key reservation made through the Douglas Ranger District Office. Caving parties should be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 people. The cave is closed from April 15 through August 31 for the bat mating season. For information and safety tips call (520) 364-3468.

We skipped it on Cave Tour '05 duw to the bat closure.
But then again we never finished Cave Tour. :(

I would be down to go I October, but you might want to check with Steve. I might be a little too cold for him around that time.

Make sure to let me know when you plan on going and I will do everything I can to keep all Tendons in one piece.

Just don't jump off any rocks 1 foot tall or higher. I've seen your Jeep slide off rocks bigger and more gracefully :D

Yay for caving! Maybe we should invest in 'safer' helmets? Gotta special order one for Steve though, his noggin's a little larger than the rest of ours. hehe  I'm game for it! Wohoo! We'd better be careful about the six person maximum. Urggg, is this gonna have to be a boys trip?
