Looking For Some Help Tonight / Monday 5-10-10
#1
Hey yall, wanted to do a shout out to see if any guys out in queen creek were board tonight and wanted to come help me rip my rear axle out. Driving home tonight the rear upper control arm/track bar bracket broke away from the axle. So that's what i'm doing tonight. Not a big deal if no one can, i've had to do it around 4 times already by myself. Just know that a extra set of hand would make it go faster. Like i said I'm in Queen Creek, main crossroads are ironwood and Ocotillo. Call me if you can help. (480-241-9275) Thanks, Josh

Sorry to hear man. Gave way on the streets? Must have been secretly tearing for a while.
Are you taking out the axle to weld a new bracket on easier?

Yeah, there are small cracks all over the whole bracket so it looks like this has slowly been happening for a while now. I'm not totally sure how i want to go about fixing it just yet though...

- I can either wait until Saturday and take the axle to my brothers shop to fix it with a new bracket and a TIG welder.
- 4 Wheel Supply said i should try to reuse the old bracket but since all the welds are cracked, it
would just seems like more work to me than to grind of what is left over on the axle and weld
on a new one.
-Try to find a shop that can either repair the old bracket or weld on a new one before Saturday
- Or try to find someone in the queen creek area that has a MIG welder and welding skill to come over to try and do some driveway customization with me.

Like i said not sure what to do yet but i knew that most of those options would exclude me taking the axle somewhere to get it fixed so that's why i took it out. If any of you think one of those options sounds better than the other, knows someone who could help or thinks of something i didn't your words o wisdom would be very appreciated. Thanks, Josh
