I know there are a few X owners on the board. Do any of you have factory fog lamps? If so could you measure the diameter of the lens? And let me know what year?
I think they have a mounting bracket that will allow me to use them for a project that Chris is working on for me.

I busted mine many moons ago. I do know that they were rectangular, thus not having a diameter. :)

hmmm. Looks like the round ones I saw are from more recent models. Any chance your 08 has/had floods?

00-04 were only 35 watt. Not very good. I don't have them

I didn't even think about that. I wonder if there are upgraded bulbs, or if I could modify the housing to take a brighter bulb like I did on the WJ.

yes the 2005 & newer models have round fogs - only on certain models though.
