So lately my jeep has been doing this downshifting and upshifting things as i accellerate, and it will do it in like 3-5 second interval when i drive the down the road or freeway. I am leaning towards the tps being bad but i am not sure. Tell me what you guys think

No it's not slipping, this is more like a communication problem between a sensor and the tranny. Drives great otherwise.

I agree with you on the TPS. had it happen to me before too.

hmm thinking about this more Im pretty sure that this is sign that your engine is about to blow up
