Great showing, guys.

Below is the follow up e-mail from the AZ Lightning Owners Club who organized the event:

The Arizona Lightning Owners Club would like to thank you for supporting the fundraiser today. Although it was rainy and cold, many people came out to support it. We couldn't change the date as we had been locked into this date with the city and we had a $3 million dollar liability insurance policy that was good for today only. The process of rescheduling would of meant pushing back the car show another 30 days. We just couldn't do it. But, you braved the weather and brought your vehicles out any way and we greatly appreciate what you did. You made a difference today and you should be proud of your contributions. Despite the weather, 138 vehicles were in the car show which doesn't include our police vehicles and fire truck. When you couple that with the generous donations the show was a success because of you!! We had so many other things planned for you but unfortunately the weather wiped them out. We had a DJ lined up and some other entertainment that I know you would of enjoyed.

There were many people, that couldn't make it out today. We understand, it wasn't very favorable weather. But it makes us more determined to continue this great cause and have others in the future. We would appreciate your support with those venues as well.

For those that were not able to attend, donations can still be made via PayPal to treasurer@azloc.com. We hope that many people will want to make donations that could not make it this morning. Please know that the donations you make are so vital to the overall success of this benefit. Thank you in advance for doing so. In the description box of Paypal, please note the funds are for the Benefit Car Show In Memory of Lt. Eric Shuhandler.

If I may ask a favor of you, please email me any pictures you took today. There were so many awesome vehicles there and I was unable to take any. I would really appreciate it if you would. My email addy is kdevereaux@cox.net .

On behalf of the Arizona Lightning Owners Club, I sincerely appreciate what you did today.

Thank you,
Ken Devereaux
