The Forest Service guy told of another way around so we tried that but missed a few turns and never did make our way to the lake.
We were able to see the dam in the distance and see the snow attop many of the mountains plus alot of rain falling in the northern area.
Over all just a drive on some FS roads, rain, huge puddles and mud :)g)
Bill & his friend did join us but split off after a second attempt to get to the river, So Scott (brother) & I continued on.
