Looking for caves
#1
Hi new guy here and looking for some help. Me and my friends are looking for some caves to go explore. Peppersauce is played out for us and I found directions to Scout cave(going to check it out on monday). Are there any others worth going to? We like to spend alot of time in caves. Also directions to them would help. Thanks

Is this a test of the CAG/NSS security broadcasting system? That didn't take long.
You know we can't and won't devulge that information publicly or to unknown parties.
Oh, and if this is a CAG rep, fix your flash intro page. It's annoying.

If you're not and just honestly fishing, I refer you back to said flash intro: http://caves.org/grotto/cag2/enterwarning.html
They can get you hooked into some amazing caves all over AZ. Scout's okay, and worth exploring, but you're right, there's a whole lot more out there.

No I don't belong to CAG or any other group. We are some friends who like to go out and find interesting stuff in the middle of nowhere, ghost towns, abandoned mines, swiming holes, hiking area's. I know there is concern for vandalism like peppersauce, but we aren't those type of people. We're just mid 30's friends looking for adventures.

yeah if youre in phoenix your best bet is joining the NSS and the local grotto (central AZ grotto)

the CAG does trips pretty much every month and they will help you out with finding new ones. They also do classes a few times a year on ropes safety for some of the vertical caves

;)

Sorry, I'm done being prickish for now.

Most of us like that kind of stuff as you'll see from past posts in the Trip Section on the board.
Caves, Old mining towns, exploring mines, etc.
I also frequent HikeArizona. Lots of trails and adventures listed there.
To go rogue with exploration isn't a a bad thing, it will just take a lot of extra work. Oh, and a map room, those are a big help, and definitley a plus with the ladies.
