Needs some advice guys.
The last couple times I went off roading the front locker on my Rubi won't engaged. I checked out the compressor's today and they both seem to pumping the same amount of pressure at the line going into the diff's.
I was wondering if maybe something is gunked up in there and the compressor pressure is not strong enough to push through and engaged the locker. Really don't know what's going on. But here is my question. Do you it would be ok if I used my shop compressor and shoot a burst of air in the diff to see if that will engage the locker or free anything up? What do you think.

If im not mistaken that the factory lockers on a rubicon run with less pressure than a normal arb. I would ask this same question on the azvjc site.

I would say no since the rubi takes less than 5psi to lock up

Don't think less of me, but I've blown a Rubi locker to get it to engage me.
You can seriously lock it up with just a breath of air so I wouldn't push a compressor blast on it for testing.

Should that be in the true confessions thread? 8|

No see it was okay. Joe Darro coached me through it

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking this morning, what about a low fluid level. I didn't check it but do you think that might have something to do with it?

I don't think it would. The locker will lock up not even beeing in the axle.

Me too! I don't know if we're that close yet. Give it a couple more runs, then we'll talk!
